Croydon From Vision to Delivery Croydon is strategically placed to be a major force for investment and transformation in London and the South East. The council has ambitious plans for significant growth and has the strong support of the London Mayor and other strategic partners to deliver it over the next 20 years. You will make a name for yourself at the head of a newly formed service that has been designed to truly deliver spatial planning in an integrated and delivery focused way. We need a Head of Spatial Planning who can be a champion for Croydon’s future. You will spearhead the council’s local development framework and lead one of the capital’s largest and most effective urban design and plan making services. The council and its partners have high ambitions for transforming Croydon town centre, and for cherishing the borough’s surprising range of historic built and natural assets.
